Our Duro Print and Apply System is a completely automatic machine that allows labels to be printed as well as applied on a product. The labels can be blank or already partially printed. Separate software packages design and load label formats into the Print Engine through the serial port. As an option, reconfigured labels can be chosen from a list and downloaded into the print engine to be used. The two standard print engines used in the production of the Duro Print and Apply System are the Zebra 110PAX3 and the Sato 8485SE. They have a maximum label print area of 5" by 14" and a 12" per second maximum print speed. Once the labels have been printed, the Duro Print and Apply System used either a Tamp or a Tamp/Blow Pressure Sensitive Labeling method to apply the labels to the product. Duro 4.5 Print and Apply Versatile: With the Duro Print and Apply system, labels are printed then dispenses onto a custom vacuum pad which holds it in place. When the PLC signals the presence of a product, the pneumatic cylinder extends, tamping or blowing the label onto the product. The cylinder then retracts and a new label is printed and fed onto the vacuum pad in preparation for the next cycle. Since the label is held securely in place by the vacuum pad, the label can be applied from above, below, or from the side. Accurate: With completely adjustable vacuum and air pressure, the Duro 4.5 Print and Apply system is capable of label application to delicate products that may be damaged with other types of labelers. Easy to operate: The Duro Print and Apply System is a fully automatic label printer applicator capable of applying labels to a variety of products. Products to be labeled are sensed as they pass a photoeye. The photo eye initiates a signal that is transmitted to the PLC. After a fully adjustable delay, the label is printed and dispensed onto the vacuum pad. The label is then applied to the passing product. Controls consist of a Main Power Switch and a Touch Screen Operator Interface which provided information and access the the Label Delay, Label Gap Delay, Batch Count, and more.
